Lambda Alpha is the National Honors Society in Anthropology.  To join, a student must have taken at least twelve hours in Anthropology and have a 3.0 GPA in his or her major (which doesn't have to be Anthropology) and a 2.5 GPA overall.  A nominal lifetime fee of $25 is also required.  For more information, see Dr. Donna Boyd, faculty sponsor of the RU Lambda Alpha chapter.
